Who are we?
The River Church has a fairly active singles group. The singles ministry is for
single adults that have been divorced, never been married or are widowed. Age is
not an issue but some events are targeted to younger single adults and some events
to older single adults.
The following are a few ways in which you can get involved.
River Adult Singles Bible Study
The River Adult Singles Bible Study meets weekly for Bible Study, prayer and fellowship.
Refreshments are often included. During the summer months this is cancelled but
it will resume in the fall.
Tuesdays in the Park
Each Tuesday during the summer months, Singles from the River and other area church
meet at Clintonwood Park. Join us under the pavilion starting at 6 PM. Bring your
own food to grill and enjoy some fellowship with us.
Singles Plus
Singles Plus is a multi-church singles group that includes a wide variety of singles
from various churches including The River, Faith, The Rock, The Point and approximately
50 other churches in the Northern Oakland County area. The River Adult Singles often
attend some of these events and even co-sponsor activities at The River College
Campus in Holly, Michgian.
When do we meet?
The River Singles get together on a regular basis for Bible Study and for other
events. We sometimes also partner with other churches and Single Groups for larger
events. Events and their locations will vary so make sure you click the "Get Connected"
